1. Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy applies to the Bugfyxe website and communications initiated through it. “Bugfyxe,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator using the Bugfyxe name on this site. Bugfyxe operates from California and works with clients globally.

Bugfyxe is the operating name presented by this website. The contracting legal party for a paid engagement will be identified separately in the applicable written agreement.

2. Information we process

Information you choose to provide

If you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, company, project description, budget or timing information, attachments, and anything else included in your message. The contact page prepares an email in your own email application; form content is not submitted to Bugfyxe until you send that email.

Technical delivery information

Our hosting provider may process ordinary web-request information such as IP address, request time, browser and device information, requested URL, referring URL, response status, and security diagnostics to deliver and protect the site.

Information we do not intentionally request

Do not send passwords, government identifiers, payment-card data, protected health information, export-controlled materials, or confidential CAD/hardware files through the public website or ordinary email unless we have agreed on an appropriate secure channel.

3. How we use information

  • Respond to inquiries and evaluate requested work.
  • Prepare proposals, statements of work, and project communications.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • Maintain business records and enforce agreements.
  • Meet legal, tax, compliance, or dispute-resolution obligations.

We do not use website activity for behavioral advertising or automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Service providers

The production website is intended to be delivered through Netlify, which may process request logs and security telemetry as a hosting and content-delivery provider. If you send an email, the email providers used by you and Bugfyxe process that communication.

The site’s active fonts, images, scripts, and videos are served locally. It does not contact Google Fonts at runtime.

5. Cookies and browser storage

Bugfyxe site code does not currently set browser cookies. It uses essential Session Storage to remember whether the cinematic opening has played during the current session and essential Local Storage to remember acknowledgement of the privacy notice.

No analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking storage is active. See the Cookie & Storage Policy for the exact keys and durations.

6. Disclosure and sale/share

We may disclose information to service providers acting for us; professional advisers; authorities when legally required; or a successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or asset transfer subject to appropriate protections.

Bugfyxe does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising pixels or data brokers on this site.

7. Retention

Inquiry and business correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, evaluate or perform work, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Hosting and security logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s operational schedules. Browser-storage records remain until the stated session ends, you clear them, or the notice version changes.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be entitled to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection. California residents may also ask about categories of personal information collected or disclosed and may opt out of sale or sharing. Because Bugfyxe does neither, Global Privacy Control is honored by default.

Submit a request through Privacy Choices or email arins@bugfyxe.com. We may need to verify the request using information reasonably related to prior communications. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a legally protected privacy right.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a static public website and business communications. No transmission, storage system, or security control is guaranteed to be completely secure. Suspected website vulnerabilities should be reported through our Security Disclosure page.

10. Children

This business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. Contact us if you believe a child provided information.

11. International visitors

Bugfyxe operates from California. If you visit from another country, information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

12. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when the site, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
